Celestial Blood Literary Magazine
From the Editor
Celestial Blood Literary Magazine was founded on April 20th, 2019 by four aspiring, young writers. We have all heard that poetry is the lifeblood of poets. We are made of it. Instead of blood, we have ink running through our veins. The Celestial Blood Literary Magazine was founded with this knowledge that poets are writing from the passages of their hearts. It’s a beautiful and ethereal concept, coupled with the extraterrestrial experience of being inspired by the natural world. While “celestial” often refers to heavenly beings like the stars, there is also something earthly about the word. In summary, “Celestial Blood” is meant to convey the draining yet powerful beauty of writing and reading poetry. The online poetry magazine’s main goals are to promote the works of young poets, share new styles with readers, inspire creativity in the world, and empower poetry of all kinds. Celestial Blood Literary Magazine focuses on exploring the depth of intense emotion and raw creativity that can be found in a single poem and providing it to eager readers. Although they have yet to publish any poems, the Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is actively working towards providing their readers with a free online poetry collection. They are also working to provide young poets with an opportunity to share their work by contributing to their publications. They are currently accepting submissions from poets under 25 years old for their first poetry collection. It will be released on August 1st, 2019. Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is enthusiastic about all kinds of poetry whether it is rhyming, free verse, abstract, or natural and they have a deep appreciation for the creative arts of poetry however they are expressed. Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is eager to spread the love of poetry and the passion of creativity to people around the globe, from all walks of life, and each with an individual view of the world. They seek to bring the eyes of readers to the works of young poetry artists, still developing their craft. They wish to uplift these young poets. They believe that all poetry however odd or simple has an impact on the world and that every poet has the power to create and inspire.
Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is currently accepting submissions from young (25 years old or younger) poets. This magazine is run by four young, aspiring writers who will read, review, and respond to all submissions. They work to thoroughly read all poems and respond with a personalized review aimed at encouraging and assisting the author. Submissions to the Celestial Blood Literary Magazine are 100% free and all poems will be seriously considered for publication. Currently, the magazine does not offer contributors monetary compensation as it is a free online collection and would like to minimize its costs, although Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is eager to provide its young poets with a boost to their poetry career. The magazine accepts both previously published poems and simultaneous submissions (poems submitted to other literary magazines awaiting responses). The Celestial Blood Literary Magazine responds to all submissions within a week. They accept a wide variety of poetry styles and formats including free verse, rhyming, abstract, traditional, sonnets, haikus, experimental, natural, prose, limerick, acrostic, and all others. Poets can send up to ten poems in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org along with their name, age, and a short bio about themselves to be displayed in the collection.
Celestial Blood Literary Magazine is now accepting submissions for its first poetry collection, which will be released on August 1st, 2019.
