    From the Editor

Stinkwaves Magazine was started in early 2013 to fill a much needed void in the world of literary magazines for young adult content. It is a print publication for readers, young and old, who enjoy the works of J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Lemony Snicket, Neil Gaiman, Madelaine L’Engle, Shel Silverstein, or the greatest storyteller of them all, Roald Dahl. Each issue is filled with fiction, poetry, and artwork. Stinkwaves is a relatively new publication, but our determination and drive is matched only by our love of reading and art. We are continually striving to put out a product that is entertaining, original, and aesthetically pleasing! It is such an opportunity to be able to showcase talent in a genre that is often overlooked by literary magazines. Every issue includes a little something for everyone from action and adventure, to science fiction, with a bit of whimsy and a few spooky stories thrown in for good measure. Our bold covers and editorial designs are something th at we’ve grown to be very proud of. Our limited staff depends mostly on our contributors for editing and proofing. We ask that before submitting any content that contributors please read ALL of the Submission Guidelines found on our website, www.stinkwavesmagazine.com. We will do our absolute best to respond to all submissions as quickly as possible, from 1 day to 1 week. We are also readily available for any questions that may arise, and can always be reached through our website, or email: stinkwavesmagazine@hotmail.com. It is our mission to bring the works of our contributors to the public. We do that through our website, as well as Facebook and Twitter. We can also be found at a variety of book fairs, craft fairs, and are currently trying to get involved with several local libraries. So if you are interested in being a part of the little gem that is Stinkwaves Magazine, check us out!
