2river review is an online literary journal based in Santa Rosa, California that publishes poetry and visual art. The journal was founded in 1996. 2river seeks to publish diverse voices and perspectives from new, emerging, and established writers and artists. The journal publishes quarterly issues featuring. Works featured in 2river have gone on to earn honors such as Pushcart Prize nominations. 2river has an international readership and aims to make a positive contribution to the literary arts.

Submissions

2river review welcomes submissions of poetry and art. We seek work that is skillfully crafted and conveys meaning and emotion through fresh language and perspective. Poetry submissions may include up to 5 poems in the submission file. Fiction and nonfiction submissions should be under 3,500 words. For visual art, we accept high-resolution JPEG or TIFF files. Across all genres, we are looking for work that captures the human experience in a thoughtful and impactful way. We are open to established and emerging voices. Send us your best work!
