New Millennium Writings
From the Editor
New Millennium Writings is an award-winning literary journal founded in 1996 in Knoxville., TN, by prize-winning journalist Don Williams.
Over the past 20 years, New Millennium Writings has:
• Published more than 1,500 new and emerging writers
• Awarded over $200,000 in top literary prizes
• Delivered more than 40,000 free copies of the annual anthologies to submitters
In addition to publishing our top eight Award Winners each year, we also publish all 40 Poetry Honorable Mentions.
At $20, our entry fee remains one of the lowest in country. In fact, it’s only increased $3 in the past 20 years. Why? Because writers’ money is precious and we love submissions!
“Highly recommended. NMW is one of our favorite journals.”
“Fiction, poetry and nonfiction that will feed your soul”
“I cannot overestimate the immense value of winning the NMW award in 2011. I credit your magazine with giving me a second career as a writer.”
