Cracked Jar Press is an international, powerhouse publishing company, headquartered in the creative epicenter of North America – Chicago, Illinois.
We pride ourselves in producing works which ignite movements, comment on social ills, speak words of healing, and imprint themselves on the tapestry of time.
Founded by acclaimed American author and poet a.j.k. o’donnell, Cracked Jar Press is a unique member of the publishing family. o’donnell was in the process of releasing her second collection, when she found corporate publishing conglomerates seemed to focus on producing works based on potential monetary worth, rather than quality of writing and world enrichment potential. Saddened by the literary landscape before her, she decided to formulate a novel form of publishing house. Thus, Cracked Jar Press was consummated with cranium and creative grit.
